As part of efforts to ensure a hitch-free Asaba 2018 African Senior Athletics Championship which will hold at Stephen Keshi Stadium from Wednesday, August 1st to Sunday, August 5th 2018, the Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA) and the Asaba 2018 Local Organising Committee (LOC), as a result of road closures at two points along Nnebisi Road have announced traffic diversions during the championship.
The statement advised motorists and commercial vehicles to use alternative routes as listed below:

• Motorists coming from Inter Bau Roundabout, Old Anwai Road and FMC Roundabout to link Ibusa Road shall be diverted through Kanene Azinge Street (by Kowea Plaza). Following the diverted traffic signs, turn left onto Jesus Saves Street, then right onto Everrose Road and left onto Direct Labour Agency Road to link Ibusa Road to connect Ogbogonogo Modern Market or Benin-Asaba Expressway.
