Issele-uku Community In America Accord Obi Nduka Royal Reception

His Royal Majesty, Agbogidi Obi Nduka (MNSE), the Obi of Issele-Uku (Oligbo Kingdom) has been accorded royal welcome cum reception in America, where he has gone to grace the Biennial Convention of the Issele Association of North America, holding at Denver, Colorado in the United States of America.

As Monarch Addresses Subjects On Progress Back Home, At first when the amiable Traditional Ruler and the royal family, including accompanying chiefs landed at the Denver airport before proceeding to the City Hall, the Issele indigenes had gathered round him, singing the royal tune of "imali Oba ga amali Oba o imali Oba, Onyeni mana Oba o ga mali Oba, amalim Oba o" and turning the Americans, spectators of the ancient Oligbo tradition in America.

Since arriving America on the 7th of August, 2018, Obi Nduka had been speaking to different groups of Issele community, comprising of Issele-Uku, Issele-Azagba and Issele-Mkpitime on way forward for Issele-Uku development and cultural advancement.

Part of his address is giving the diasporan community of Issele-Uku, reports on the happenings at home. Major is the issue of electricity and the progress made thus far to get the town lighted up again.

Obi Nduka also hinted them of the development that has taken place in the areas of road infrastructure, water project and rehabilitation of primary and secondary schools in Issele-Uku. He had while giving an account of these developments, applauded the Delta State Government, led by Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa through the effort of the illustrious Issele-Uku born Member of the Delta State House of Assembly, representing Aniocha North Constituency, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi.

Obi Nduka had also used the Convention opportunity to further solicit the assistance of the ever supportive sons and daughters of Issele-Oligbo, to continue to give back to the community, adding that God would continue to bless and replenish them as they join hands with him to develop Issele-Uku.
The official commencement of the Convention was from August 10th - 12th. So far, it has remained memorable, as the beats and sounds of the event had continued to keep the City of Denver agog.

The Oligbo first class monarch was accompanied on the American visit by his lovely wife, HRM Anasi-Obi Dumebi Nduka, his cute son, Prince Isioma-Unor Nduka, Prince Chuks Osemene (Uncle), Prince Mike Akeh (Royal Family), Chief Peter Ijeh (the Akogwu of Issele-Uku), Chief David Siunoje (the Olikeze of Issele-Uku), Mr. Ugeh Ofordile (the IDU National President).
Meanwhile, the Iyase of Oligbo Kingdom, Chief Innocent Etenmua Ashiedu was in America to receive the Obi Isei, while the Ide of Oligbo Kingdom, Chief Tony Nwabuotu and wife flew in from UK to join the Royal Pride of Ezechime Clan in gracing the Isseles Convention in the US.

More so, a proudly Anioma Ambassador in the US and Nwadialor of Idumuje Kingdom, Chief Michael Brian Odiakosa was equally on hand to felicitate with IANA and also welcome Obi Nduka to America. He was happy at the traditional development of Oligbo land and affirmed his optimism that Anioma would continue to dominate in terms of cultural identity, signature dress code (Akwa Ocha), food and distinct language. He urged that all must brace up to continue to project and promote Anioma to prominence.
